Did way better than I expected!

I bought a 2003 Kia with leather seats. This poor car never saw a car wash or a vacuum in its life let alone leather care. Surprising, the leather was almost perfect with only a few puncture holes not related to wear. The leather seats were ROCK hard and just waiting and wanting to crack. They were filthy. I did wash the seats with Murphys oil soap and cleaned alot of grime off, ie sodas, milkshakes, ketsup and the usual dirt from ten years of not cleaning and smoking in it. I bought the Armour leather Care gel yesterday. A lot of product for a fair price. One problem,,no where on the product does it say what the ingredients are. With some of Armours products, I know that there might have been something in it I wanted to avoid. I put it on as directed and yes, it does clean as my rag was dirty. It soaked right in like a fine hand lotion. It soaked in so quickly and completely, I decided to use my hands to gently rub quarter size amounts it to in. Worked great so f ar. Much better after the first treatment and I plan on retreating it in a few day (and when it cools off outside). I have tried scores of products through the years, half went in the trash and half still on my shelves waiting for their demise. This might be the best. So far, so good. That Kia is one tough little buddy and looks almost as good as it still runs~ Recommend product and Kias!

Best leather conditioner we have used!

In the past 15 years every couch and love seat we have bought for our living room, family room and sun room has been leather or vinyl. Our largest SUV also has a vinyl interior and our hot tub in the sunroom has a vinyl cover. Some of the vinyl and leather is exposed to more extreme environmental conditions such as the SUV's hot summer interior or the high humidity of our sunroom where the hot tub cover and a leather couch require extra TLC. In an effort to preserve and protect our purchases over the years we have tried several different leather and vinyl care products including several different Armor All brand leather cleaners and conditioners, a couple of Meguiar's leather conditioners as well as an odd brand included with the purchase of our first leather couch. One of the other leather care products we have previously used is Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner which performed about the same level as the lower quality Armor All leather products but the Meguiar's cost substantially more for the area covered.

We are by far most pleased with the Armor All Leather Care Gel - 5 stars in every category. The gel applies much easier and more evenly while seemingly to last longer in between treatments. The gel deepens and enriches the darker color leather while maintaining the same hue on lighter color leather. I would purchase the Leather Care Gel again, in fact we took advantage of the discount and convenience using Subscribe and Save since we use a couple bottles each year protecting and conditioning all of the leather. One bottle easily treats 3 leather sofas, a leather loveseat (large), a vinyl hot tub cover (64 square feet), as well as the interior of a large Ford Excursion.

Great product

I have a car with a black leather interior. I bought this 2005 last month and the owner told me he never conditioned the seats. They looked decent enough but I thought I'd try it anyway. After working the first section, I could see that the untreated portions had a slightly greyish appearance but after treatment with this, the black came through better. I applied it with a microfibre cloth. The leather absorbed it all just like dry hands take hand lotion. It was remarkable. It absorbed so much of it, that the cloth was nearly dry after a few swipes. The seats needed only a very quick, light wipe after application. I did the whole car in only a few minutes. The next week I did it again and while the color improvement did not occur this time, the leather still took all of the lotion quickly. As for cleaning, it picked up all the dust and some slightly sticky stuff the 3 year old left me. I also used it on the door sills (plastic) where there is always dirt and it cleaned th ose quite well. It does NOT bring a shine to the leather but it DOES make the leather look fresher and newer.
