It is used to treat the dash, gauge cluster, navigation and audio screens, shift knob, arm rests, leatherette (imitation leather) and steering wheel while leaving a no-shine finish. The mild cleaners remove dust and dirt but won't harm soft touch materials or painted plastic trim surfaces. It leaves a light, fresh citrus scent. It is water-based and silicone-free.

Everything from Einszettes is amazing!

I've been an Einszettes fan for years, I love everything I have tried from them. From polishes, sealants and cleaners, they all work amazing. Other than it's amazing ability to clean, Cockpit Premium smells great. It's kind of a difficult scent to describe, but if I could only choose one word it would be "clean". Pair Cockpit Premium with their glass cleaner Schlibeklar (windscreen clear) and the interior smells wonderful. One of the first things customers comment on when they first sit in the vehicle upon delivery from a day of detailing is the smell of the interior. Everyone loves the smell, and they all say it just simply smells clean.

Cockpit leaves a nice matte finish on the dash and surrounding plastics. Much like the finish looks as the car leaves the factory. Cockpit also has UV protection so it will give a nice little layer of sun block to the dash. If you like your dash to have more of a shine to it, you'll want to buy Einszettes Teifenfleger (can't spell). That will leave a nice soft shine on the plastics and provide the same protection as Cockpit. Teifenfleger also looks great on exterior plastics and tires.

$10 a bottle on Amazon was the cheapest I have seen Cockpit in a long time. As always, super fast shipping and packed like fine china. Hope this was helpful.

Excellent Product

Previously, I used Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer, but I noticed that it would still leave some gloss on my dashboard. So, I tried Cockpit Premium, and indeed it cleans well and leaves a real matte finish. I use Cockpit premium exculsively now for my dashboard, and use Meguiars for all other areas of the interior.

No shine dashboard protection

Am not a fan of shiny dashboard protectants. A friend has a bottle so I tried it and found it to be very good, so I went straight online and ordered a bottle for myself. It goes on without any streaks and there is no shine. Just looks clean and factory original. Still have the same bottle and I use it every month for all of the non-leather interior trim panels. It has a pleasant smell and leaves no residue. Highly recommend it.
