5Surprisingly effective!
By Aaron Shoemaker
I drive a '99 Z3 which has spent many days baking away in the LA sun. The weather seals are 12 years old now, and were starting to grey and leak when it rained. Some of the rubber had visible gaps at the joints just from aging and shrinking.

Originally, it seemed like I'd have to replace many of the seals to get back some approximation of waterproofing, but after turning up a few references to Gummi Pflege on the forums I decided to give it a shot. In short, this is a <$10 bottle of chemical magic. It took all of about 40 minutes to treat the numerous weather seals, giving each a few applications as the rubber soaked it up, and the difference is substantial. The seals are now pliable, darker and have regained much of their original size. I'd highly recommend this to anyone considering replacing their weather stripping since it's a fraction of the cost and provides much the same benefit.

As a weird off-label application, I accidentally got some on my plastic door handle, which had started to fade a little with weathering. Oddly enough, it seemed to take and the plastic now looks like new. Definitely not one of the indications, but something which may be worth noting.

5Great product for restoring worn/faded rubber seals & gaskets
By Brian
Gummi Pflege is an excellent product for restoring worn/faded rubber seals & gaskets. This stuff really works. It will restore the look and the seal of rubber in many applications, but like many of the other reviewers, I used it on the rubber gaskets on mine and my family's vehicles. One of the more obvious and significant improvements I've noticed is that the my 98 Dodge Neon's window makes a much better seal now, and that keeps the wind noise down and also prevents any water drops from making their way down the inside of the window. It also really freshened up the look of those seals (they're not a darker black instead of a dark grey).

We've used this on almost all of our vehicles including a 98 Dodge Neon, 98 BMW Z3, 02 Accord, and a 00 Civic. A little of this product goes a very long way so I think a bottle should be sufficient for most people to last a number of applications to their car(s). I about 2/3rds of the "pflege" remaining in my bottle.

The one thing that I would warn against is that if you apply too much of this liquid and it get runny, you'll have black runny drips getting on things around it so don't get too carried away. I recommend doing multiple light coverages, and I'm willing to bet it's easier than if you're constantly wiping away a bunch of excess.

5Amazing stuff
By D. Boyd
I got this to restore the hard to get door seal rubber on a car I was restoring. Didn't totally bring them back but definately reduced the wind noise and made them look a 100% better. Good stuff.
