5Awesome stuff!!
By Jones
This Nikwax suede waterproofing is wonderful!!

I followed the directions and things worked perfectly. No discoloration at all and now water runs right off my shoes! I love it.

I did not use their suede cleaner first because I used this on brand new boots. I did a spot test first and then just shook well and sprayed evenly all over my boots. It took a few hours to dry, but when it did, I took each boot and stuck it under running water. The water ran right off the boots! Perfect. And the spray did not make my camel colored boots a darker tan. The suede looks exactly like it did before I waterproofed them.

I highly recommend this Nikwax spray.

5Perfect!

Great product! Works well and is easily applied. Semi-funky smell at first, but doesn't last on product. Perfect for my Uggs.

2Delivery system inappropriate on good product
By Richard Abrahams
I'm sorry to report that this good product has a bad delivery system. Specifically, the spray nozzle with the bottle I received delivers the liquid in a focused, very narrow stream. This stream is produced via pump action, one short spritz at a time. The end result is that when you press down on the pump-action sprayer, it produces a short burst of a very narrow stream which ends up covering a circular area only about 1/4 inch in diameter on your shoe. This soaks that spot to excess, and the unabsorbed liquid runs off the shoe (no matter how close or far from object spraying is attempted). At 1/4 inch spot coverage at a time, this makes total application a very long and frustrating process, requiring constant distribution with a rag or sponge, and with a lot of wasted product dripping off your shoes. **What is needed here is a delivery system that produces a wider coverage MIST (not a narrow stream) that spreads out evenly over a larger area.**
